This saber Iaito Japanese is a training sword, the blade is not sharpened. Other than that, everything is identical to a traditional saber. Manufactured from 1050 carbon steel which is both strong and high-performance steel. The finish of the saida is in glossy black.


The use of Iaito


Iaito is a non-sharp saber used primarily in courts iaido , kenjustu or in aikido . Some schools even go so far as to develop their own sabers with specific curvatures, sizes and weights.

Legislation

In France, the Iaito are considered category D weapons, which are not subject to authorization and declaration upon purchase. The detention of a Iaito is therefore authorized for adults.
